There is no dial, only the movement
Most watches hide the mechanism behind a printed face and give you a small window if you are lucky. This one takes the face away entirely: the gear train, the bridges and the escapement are what you look at, framed by a gold-tone chapter ring carrying the hour markers. It is the sort of watch people lean across a table to see, which is either exactly what you want or exactly what you do not.
Five versions, two completely different watches
Three of the five come on a matching metal bracelet, which makes the whole watch read as one solid piece and pushes it towards evening. The other two come on a leather strap, which softens it into something you can wear with a jacket on a Saturday. Same case, same skeleton dial underneath - the band is doing all the work of deciding what this watch is for.
Three ATM, and what we removed
Three ATM behind scratch-resistant glass: rain, splashes and hands under a tap are fine, swimming is not. This listing previously described the case as gunmetal and the band as leather across the whole range, and called it a limited edition. The case is gold-tone, three of the five versions are on metal, and there is no edition number - so we have taken all three off rather than leave them sitting there.

Yes. Every watch comes with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If something goes wrong in that period, email support@benedictswatches.com with your order number and a photo and we will repair or replace it. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse or normal wear such as scratches and strap wear.
The rating for this watch is listed in the specifications above. If no water resistance is listed, treat the watch as not water resistant and keep it dry.
As a guide: 3 ATM (30 m) covers rain, splashes and washing your hands. 5 ATM (50 m) means you can leave it on in the shower. 10 ATM (100 m) is fine for swimming and snorkelling. None of our watches is certified for diving, whatever the case style suggests.
The strap material and width for this watch are listed in the specifications above. The lugs take any standard strap of that width, so any watch shop can fit a replacement.
Yes. Quartz models arrive with a battery fitted and running; when it eventually runs down, any watch shop can replace it. Automatic models need no battery at all - they wind themselves as you wear them.
