It tells you the day, not just the date
The window at three o'clock shows the weekday alongside the date - TUE 26, not just 26. Almost every watch at this price gives you the number and leaves you to work the rest out. It sounds like a small thing until the first morning you genuinely cannot remember what day it is, and then it is the reason you keep wearing this one.
Gold and brown, which is the safe answer
A gold-tone case on a brown leather strap, with slim bar markers and nothing else printed on the dial. It is the combination that works under a shirt cuff, at a meeting, and at a wedding, without ever being the thing anybody comments on. If you want a watch that draws attention, this is not it - and that is the point of it.
Black or white, and one thing to keep in mind
The dial comes in black or in white. The black reads sharper against the gold case, the white reads lighter and dressier - the watch underneath is the same either way. One limitation: no water resistance rating is published for this model, so it needs to stay dry. Off before the shower, off at the sink.

Yes. Every watch comes with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If something goes wrong in that period, email support@benedictswatches.com with your order number and a photo and we will repair or replace it. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse or normal wear such as scratches and strap wear.
The rating for this watch is listed in the specifications above. If no water resistance is listed, treat the watch as not water resistant and keep it dry.
As a guide: 3 ATM (30 m) covers rain, splashes and washing your hands. 5 ATM (50 m) means you can leave it on in the shower. 10 ATM (100 m) is fine for swimming and snorkelling. None of our watches is certified for diving, whatever the case style suggests.

Yes. Quartz models arrive with a battery fitted and running; when it eventually runs down, any watch shop can replace it. Automatic models need no battery at all - they wind themselves as you wear them.
