The window on the dial shows the weekday alongside the date, not just the number. Almost everything at this price gives you the date and leaves you to work out the rest. It sounds like nothing until the first morning you genuinely cannot remember what day it is - and then it is the reason this is the one you keep reaching for.
Roman numerals and a cut bezel
Roman numerals rather than bars or Arabic figures, inside a faceted bezel that catches the light in sections instead of all at once. It is a deliberately old-fashioned combination and it is the whole character of the watch - this is not trying to look modern, and it is better for it.
Ten colours, and a word about the strap
Ten colourways, from all-black to silver and gold two-tones, with the same case and the same day-date dial under every one. The strap is a leather-style material rather than hide - the listing used to say leather and the supplier's own specification does not, so we have corrected it. No water resistance rating is published for this model either, so treat it as a dry watch.

Yes. Every watch comes with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If something goes wrong in that period, email support@benedictswatches.com with your order number and a photo and we will repair or replace it. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse or normal wear such as scratches and strap wear.
The rating for this watch is listed in the specifications above. If no water resistance is listed, treat the watch as not water resistant and keep it dry.
As a guide: 3 ATM (30 m) covers rain, splashes and washing your hands. 5 ATM (50 m) means you can leave it on in the shower. 10 ATM (100 m) is fine for swimming and snorkelling. None of our watches is certified for diving, whatever the case style suggests.
The strap material and width for this watch are listed in the specifications above. The lugs take any standard strap of that width, so any watch shop can fit a replacement.
Yes. Quartz models arrive with a battery fitted and running; when it eventually runs down, any watch shop can replace it. Automatic models need no battery at all - they wind themselves as you wear them.
