Seven millimetres, which you notice at the cuff
Seven millimetres is thin enough that the watch disappears under a shirt sleeve instead of catching on it every time you reach for something. Most watches at this price sit between ten and twelve. It is the sort of difference you stop noticing after a week and then notice immediately the moment you wear something thicker.
It survives an ordinary day
Three ATM. Rain on the walk home, hands under a tap, the washing-up afterwards - none of it is a reason to take the watch off. It is not a swimming watch and we will not pretend otherwise, but it is the difference between a watch you wear all day and one that lives on the edge of a sink, which is where watches get forgotten.
Three straps, and a fourth if you want one
White on black, black on brown, or all black. The 38 mm case and the 230 mm strap are the same across all three, so the fit does not change with the colour. The lugs are a standard 20 mm, which is the most common size there is - if you want something else later, any strap in that width will fit straight on.

Yes. Every watch comes with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If something goes wrong in that period, email support@benedictswatches.com with your order number and a photo and we will repair or replace it. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse or normal wear such as scratches and strap wear.
The rating for this watch is listed in the specifications above. If no water resistance is listed, treat the watch as not water resistant and keep it dry.
As a guide: 3 ATM (30 m) covers rain, splashes and washing your hands. 5 ATM (50 m) means you can leave it on in the shower. 10 ATM (100 m) is fine for swimming and snorkelling. None of our watches is certified for diving, whatever the case style suggests.

Yes. Quartz models arrive with a battery fitted and running; when it eventually runs down, any watch shop can replace it. Automatic models need no battery at all - they wind themselves as you wear them.
