I wasn't expecting much at this price, but this watch really surprised me. It has a great weight to it and looks amazing on the wrist. The details on the dial are especially nice.

Three hundred metres, printed on the dial
Just below the centre of the dial, in the manufacturer's own printing: 300M/1000FT. Behind that sits a crown that screws closed against the case - the part that actually keeps water out, and the part watches at this price usually leave off. So swimming, snorkelling, the shower, a rainstorm, washing the car: none of it is something you need to think about with this watch on.
What we will not do is call it a dive watch. A dive watch is certified to ISO 6425, which tests the seals, the legibility in the dark and the bezel, and this one carries no such certificate - and it has a mineral crystal rather than sapphire. Nobody is taking a watch at this price to three hundred metres anyway. Read the number as headroom: it means the seals are built well past anything you will ever do with it.
Forty-six millimetres, and no apology for it
The dial measures 45.8 mm across and the case is 16.2 mm deep, in solid stainless steel. That is a big watch by any measure, and it is supposed to be - the rotating bezel and the luminous markers only work as a look at this size. Worth knowing before you order: on a wrist under about 17 cm it will read as large, and it will sit high under a shirt cuff. If you have been wearing a 40 mm watch, this is a noticeable step up. If you have wanted something with presence, this is it.
Four ways to wear it, two of them steel
Black and Blue come on a silicone strap, which is the one you want if the watch is going anywhere near water or a gym. Silver blue and Silver black come on a full steel bracelet, which turns the same watch into something you can wear with a jacket. The case, the movement and the crown are identical across all four, so you are choosing purely on how you want it to look and giving nothing up either way.

If something goes wrong in that period, email support@benedictswatches.com with your order number and a photo and we will repair or replace it. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse or normal wear such as scratches and strap wear.
The rating for this watch is listed in the specifications above. If no water resistance is listed, treat the watch as not water resistant and keep it dry.
As a guide: 3 ATM (30 m) covers rain, splashes and washing your hands. 5 ATM (50 m) means you can leave it on in the shower. 10 ATM (100 m) is fine for swimming and snorkelling. None of our watches is certified for diving, whatever the case style suggests.
