A date, and a minute track that earns its place
The date sits at three o'clock in a framed window. Around the outside runs a full minute track marked in fives - the detail that separates a dial someone designed from a dial someone decorated, because it means you can actually read the minutes rather than estimate them between markers.
We renamed this watch
This was listed as a military watch, and it is not one: there is no luminous dial, no 24-hour scale and no water resistance rating. It is a gold-tone dress watch on a leather strap, and a good one, so we have called it that instead. It needs to stay dry - off before the shower and at the sink.

Yes. Every watch comes with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If something goes wrong in that period, email support@benedictswatches.com with your order number and a photo and we will repair or replace it. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse or normal wear such as scratches and strap wear.
The rating for this watch is listed in the specifications above. If no water resistance is listed, treat the watch as not water resistant and keep it dry.
As a guide: 3 ATM (30 m) covers rain, splashes and washing your hands. 5 ATM (50 m) means you can leave it on in the shower. 10 ATM (100 m) is fine for swimming and snorkelling. None of our watches is certified for diving, whatever the case style suggests.
