A big dial on a case that is barely there
Forty-two millimetres across and seven deep. That combination is unusual: watches this wide are normally twelve or thirteen millimetres thick and they sit on your wrist like a bottle cap. This one gives you the dial size without the height, so you get something readable at a glance that still goes under a sleeve.
Two hundred and seventy-five millimetres of strap
The strap is 275 mm long on a 22 mm width, which is longer than almost anything else here. It fastens over a jacket sleeve without fighting you, and it still sizes down far enough for a narrow wrist. If you have ever bought a watch that would not close over a coat, this is the one that does.
The tactical look, and what it is not
This watch is styled after field and tactical watches, and that is where the resemblance stops: it carries no water resistance rating at all, so it has to stay dry - off before the shower, off at the sink, and not out in heavy rain. We would rather tell you that here than have you find out. Buy it for the look and the strap length; if you need something that shrugs off water, take the field watches with a published rating instead.

Yes. Every watch comes with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If something goes wrong in that period, email support@benedictswatches.com with your order number and a photo and we will repair or replace it. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse or normal wear such as scratches and strap wear.
The rating for this watch is listed in the specifications above. If no water resistance is listed, treat the watch as not water resistant and keep it dry.
As a guide: 3 ATM (30 m) covers rain, splashes and washing your hands. 5 ATM (50 m) means you can leave it on in the shower. 10 ATM (100 m) is fine for swimming and snorkelling. None of our watches is certified for diving, whatever the case style suggests.

Yes. Quartz models arrive with a battery fitted and running; when it eventually runs down, any watch shop can replace it. Automatic models need no battery at all - they wind themselves as you wear them.
