Outdoor watches announce themselves: thick case, wide bezel, and forty grams too much by the end of the day. This one is thirty-six grams and eight millimetres deep. It has the structured field look and none of the bulk, which is why it ends up being the watch on your wrist on an ordinary Tuesday instead of the one waiting in a drawer for a weekend that keeps not happening.
It survives your day
Three ATM, printed on the dial itself. That is rain on the walk home, hands under a tap, a spilled pint and the washing-up - all fine, none of it a reason to take the watch off. It is not a swimming watch and we will not pretend otherwise, but it is the difference between a watch you wear all day and one you keep taking off. The strap closes through a run of holes over 225 millimetres, so it fastens properly on a slim wrist and still goes over a jacket sleeve in January.
Sixteen ways to wear the same watch
Green, black, blue and coffee dials, each on four straps, with a fluorescent face in there if you want the watch seen rather than hidden. The same watch sits underneath all sixteen, so you are choosing on looks alone and giving nothing up for it. At this price a second colourway costs less than most people spend on one strap, and the standard 22 mm lugs take any strap of that width.

Great everyday watch for my husband
Nice solid watch for the price. It feels lightweight on the wrist but still looks rugged. The brown dial and green strap look really good together. (He loves it)

Yes. Every watch comes with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If something goes wrong in that period, email support@benedictswatches.com with your order number and a photo and we will repair or replace it. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse or normal wear such as scratches and strap wear.
The rating for this watch is listed in the specifications above. If no water resistance is listed, treat the watch as not water resistant and keep it dry.
As a guide: 3 ATM (30 m) covers rain, splashes and washing your hands. 5 ATM (50 m) means you can leave it on in the shower. 10 ATM (100 m) is fine for swimming and snorkelling. None of our watches is certified for diving, whatever the case style suggests.

Yes. Quartz models arrive with a battery fitted and running; when it eventually runs down, any watch shop can replace it. Automatic models need no battery at all - they wind themselves as you wear them.
